Friday Night: Joe Pool - Lynn Creek Marina Ramp - 6:00 PM - Crappie fishing bridge
Saturday morning: Lake Bachman (next to Love Field) targeting LM Bass and/or Crappie
Sunday: Benbrook in morning?

My work trip ended early and my wife is going to be out of town, so I am going to do a lot of fishing this weekend.

I'm open all day Friday and Saturday, as well as Sunday morning. I'm down for either day or night fishing. Don't care what type of fish we target. Would like to do something around DFW (don't want to drive out to Fork or anything).

i have a few days left of vacation. I'll be watching to see where you end up. Right now I'm considering Lavon, Hubbard, South lake, or Cooper

Same here. I can't Saturday but I'm open on Sunday... Unless my wife has plans for us that I don't know about. South Lake sounds kinda fun. Small water, easy to launch, TONS of forage.

Cooper is a bit far for me (2 hour drive) for a single day of fishing. Definitely down to camp out for a weekend there sometime though.

Heard good things about South Lake. Is the vegetation thick enough i will have problems with my mirage drive?

Hubbard is about a half hour drive and Lavon is about almost an hour. I may be down for either one, but would prefer either night or early morning fishing on those two. Power Boaters bug me more and more.

The mirage will do just fine on South Lake. Others have asked that before. The thing I like the most about SL is the low boat traffic. Actually none the few times I've been there. You may get 1 maybe 2 small motorized boats but the lake is so small they only idle.

OK, sounds like I will be doing some crappie fishing on friday night at Joe Pool. Let me know if you want to join. APynckel and DevilDoc will probably be there. Come light up the lake with us.

I'm down for fishing Saturday and Sunday as well. The South Lake idea for Sunday morning may work for me (75 minute drive though, so something closer could be preferable).

I think I'm meeting christian myrick and Cudadude at Benbrook Sunday morning if you want to join us. They'll be fishing for cats, I'll probably fish for sandies, LMB, cats, whatever. I'm more of a "anything that bites" kinda guy.

I'm open for ideas for Sunday. I'm in Frisco, so would prefer something not too far.

Benbrook is a lot closer to me than South Lake. May take you up on that... still open for Saturday if i go that way though

I may not be up for fishing quite that early after fishing Friday night. Not sure how late i will be staying out.

You can do like we did on our Cooper trip and get off the water and have some drinks till before sun up and then go work off the hang over as we peddled to the next hole :-P you guys missed a fun trip

Launching at Lynn Creek Marina (free if you don't have a trailer) and probably going to fish around the bridge... Very short paddle. Not sure on the time yet. I will update as I learn more
