This is a big deal in West Texas, we finally have some water running into a few lakes today:
1). Lake Ft. Phantom Hill

At 9:30 a.m. this did not include any water that might possibly be scalped from the Brazos River into the lake. Seebee Park has water running in strongly and is bank to bank. Ft. Phantom

Sure would be nice to see em full again.... Yessir. We also got stuck on the flats over near the silos. Had to climb out of the boat and drag it about 100 yds to find dep enough water to run in.

Water scalping operations have began on Ft. Phantom. The City of Abilene is pumping water from the Brazos River under West Lake Road or FM600 into the lake so the lake will gain additional water other than what is coming in thru the creeks. 80 percent chance of more rain they are predicting, but should cease sometime tomorrow p.m.
We certainly have been blessed and for it to happen in JULY of all things. The man has heard the prayers.
