OP SmellMyfinger Angler S Joined: Jul 2009 Posts: 472 Little Elm	Got to the lake at about 7 and had a great start finding some nice hybrids tearing it up and ended up catching 7 all between 4-6 pounds before they went away. After that we decided to go catch some bait and go catfishing. Bait wasn't to had to find after about 10 or so throws we had enough shad for the day. We anchored up in our first spot and starting catching fish pretty quick, after catching several good size blues my dad had one hooked up that he thought was about 10 pounds so I got the net ready. I was standing there ready to scoop up his fish but when it surfaced it was obviously not a 10 pounder. I guess the fish just didn't want to put up a fight until he saw us, it went back down and started pulling drag. After a few minutes we had it in the boat and it ended up being our biggest fish yet at 44 pounds. It was incredible day on the lake! We didn't keep count but we must have caught atleast 30-40 cats, 8 big hybrids, a bunch of yellow bass, 1 crappie(my first ever on rod and reel), and finished the day with bunch of schooling sandies. We only keep a few hybrids, the crappie, and the cats that swallowed the hook. Its gonna be hard to go back to Lewisville now.
