My Dad hooked into a nice combo off the point near Walleye boat ramp this afternoon. Identify the rod/reel/bait and it's yours. Sorry for posting the wrong section - please move post if necessary. Thanks.

I was actually fishing on that point when that happened. A man and his wife were fishing on the other side of the point and catching them pretty good. I was just about finished fishing for the day because of some trolling motor issues. As I started to drive off the man waved me over. He told me what he had been catching them on. He then said that while he was helping his wife with a fish, he set his rod down and a fish took off with it. I casted in the area that he said it went in for a few minutes but had no success. Wish I had got his contact info from him. Hopefully he gets on and sees this.

I believe I know the guy you're talking about. If I'm correct, I believe he runs a white nitro. I've seen him a couple of times by himself and a few times with his wife. The rod is a distinct color and you can see it from across the cove/lake. I'll keep my eyes open for him. Thanks for the info.
