There is not much schooling going on at the moment. The lake is in a bit of a funk to say the least. There has been sporadic top water, but I have not seen it anywhere close to years past. Its seems that live bait on humps has been the best ticket (for me at least). Ive also been using glitter shad with good success when I cant catch live bait.

I would focus on the gravel pits, dead mans (if there is not a heap of boats already on it, the spillway humps, and near the damn (lake park side).

I hope that helps you some. good luck.

Went this morning and it was SLOW! Fished all over with nothing more than a few dinks.

Love your handle I lose lures but I am going to take offense to that! No one around here lose more lures than I.

For me, this summer fishing has been more challenging than the past. But you just got to wet to hook to have an opportunity to catch them. Cannot win them all but cannot win at all without trying. Good luck out there.

Do you know what dirty sox smells like?
