There are a few recent posts from arlington lake (LA) if you go back a page or 2. Its a fairly small lake compared to the surrounding water bodies but does have a decent white crappie population.

Problem with Lake Arlington is no wet slips.
I fished there in the 90's when I could launch a boat and had good luck, both at the dam and at the power plant in the winter. Back then I didn't fish exclusively for crappie. We caught a good variety of fish then.
I don't know what it is like now but given the power plant I don't see why it would not be good.
But it was never as good as Cleburne Lake, Lake Fork or Benbrook for me back then.
