Got up at 300 am and headed for the lake. When i got to worth the wind was about 8-10 but out of the north and chilly. Add in the 70 outside which is cool already and it was down right chilly. Well i had some perch and minnows i had netted so i hit some cover in 12 ft of water with not even a nibble. Headed to a spot and the wind had me going the wrong direction so i hit a sppt the wind would blow me into. Had 1 solid hit but missed it ofcourse. Spent the next 1.5 hours casting slow lures and had a nice live perch about the size of my palm out and had shad then small live perch under my lights. On the way in i hit the cat tails with a spinner bait and nothing. Not even a miss. No bait getting hit on the surface at dawn. Very few gar surfaced. Usuallh all kinds of activity but was dead today. Think ill unload and just wait for the texoma trip this weekend.
