Recently I took a day fishing trip up to the red river and didn't have much luck, only a couple of decent sized buffalo. I know you're supposed to fish the deeper pockets but almost every spot I tried had little or no deep spots around or the deep spot produced nothing. Consequently, now I'm looking for new spot to try and need a general direction of where to look. Is east or west of lake texoma better? Any where near highway crossings with easy access that can produce? Any info would be appreciated

Where are you located and how far are you willing to travel? I know the Denison dam is a pretty active fishing spot for many guys all year long.

I thank God for each day!

Denision dam is on the south east end of texoma off 75. There was a long running post in bankfishing for Denision dam fishing reports. I would look into that for sure! Ill see if I can find it

I thank God for each day!

Denison Dam is your best bet! Exit 72 off of 75. Take a left and the Dam is about 2 miles down. The Oklahoma side is loaded with carp and buffalo. There are some monster grass carp aswell....

Is it best to fish right below the dam or is the whole stretch to Shawnee creek good fishing?
