I know for a while, i've been wondering where the jumbo sized t-wok striper are???

A few days ago, customer David hooked into one. I don't know all the details of how many times he was taken around the boat or how long the battle was, but it was epic.

In the clear water, I got color and noticed a fish that looked to be 4ft long. I thought no way...a blue cat! As the fish surfaced I almost fell out of the boat. eeks

BIG. LONG. BLACK. STRIPES. OMG!

The night before the trip, we got a phone call from the customer and he was requesting to fish out of a boat w/ a t-top. Teri's boat has a t-top, mine doesn't. My boat had the scale, Teri's DID NOT. Who would have known? hmmm

A true once-in-a-lifetime accomplishment by a customer and I had my certified scale in the other boat. hammer

Out of his back pocket my customer pulls out a tiny spring scale that was older than I was. Rusted and all but at least we got an idea what it weighed.

She bounced from 20 all the way to 24lbs. The distance from 20 to 30lbs was like a quarter inch so I couldn't really tell. Too concerned the fish would die, we got measurements on her quickly and released her. She threw water on us all as she returned home. thumb

35 3/4" x 23.5" = PIG for Lake Tawakoni.

Thanks to all who release the stripers in t-wok. thumb Let'em grow. wink

Salsa I am really crossing my fingers that you got HD video of that fight to put on your website. Definately would be an awesome watch....P.S. I first need to get a Lake Fork Bass guide trip set up to go with a good friend of mine but after that I really am trying to find the time, money, and companions to set up a trip with you or the Mrs. Want to kill them on catfish and then move on to Hybrids and Stripers all in a full day.

Trust me I am going to get it set up....unfortunately finding the money is a little tight so I have to find someone to partner with to get it split but I am definately booking with y'all. Heck got your website bookmarked for the exact reason :-)How well do the catfish and Stripers do during late fall early Winter. That is probably when I will probably be looking to get it set up
