Brazos river @ hwy 290, fm529 & I-10 for cats, gaspergoos & the occasional black drum so I've heard. Hope this helps, I'm going to the I-10 spot tomorrow evening.

I can't find this on a map. 529 and I-10 don't intersect...

No they don't, it's 2 separate locations on the Brazos.

I used to live off of 290 in NW Houston. You can catch Hybrids below the Sommerville Dam if you know how to throw a throw net and don't mind a crowd!! At least you could 8 years ago!!

Do you know of any ponds around 290 NW Houston you used to fish?
