Yes, and I can honestly say it's the worst body of water I have fished in my entire life.

The ramp is terribly flat, the area is very questionable as far as getting your car broken into and 90% of the lake is 7ft or shallower. Not worth it...

It's true your truck may not be there when you come back..I would have someone drop you and your boat off..then pick you up when your done.

The lake is the best bass fishing I ever had..go to the south side of the bridge.
When you get back there..you will find the first river to the left..fish it then come out and go to the left again for another one that goes all the way to Joe pool.

Probably 4 ft. of water mostly.

Huge sandbass up those rivers (creeks) also.
Best fished with a small boat and motor.

The TFF never disappoints, always entertaining.

I love the lake myself. Its where ive caught my PB (signiture pic). As far people saying not to take your truck down there i used to agree but ive been driving my $45k truck down there for a couple years and have never had any problems. At the same time i can say in the last couple years the cops patrol down there 3x to 4x as much as they did before. as far as the boatramp yes they are correct it is shallow but hey i still do it lol. little hint: catfish are spawning on the dam right now. Go at dusk and you will catch a 3lber every few minutes wink let me know if you ever decide to go ill meet ya out there if im not already there. fish

I have caught fish out there every time I have been. The ramp is difficult if your by yourself. As far as safety it does not look like the best area but I have heard more theft reports from the "Nicer" ramps than out there. The last time I went I paid a guy that was chillin at the ramp 5 bucks to back me in and everyone came out a winner. Holler at me if you want to go one afternoon reel pro.
