Anyone else get caught in it? 1-1/2" rain North of the lake in 10 min is what they measured it came from the east. We had 10' of solid fish under us when it hit.

we were already off tha water and cleaning fish when it rolled in. Did the wind get up out there? It didn't blow too much at holiday. Just some lightening and decent rain for about 15 minutes.

The wind was BAD and came up fast, I have been there when its was worse but the rain with it hit very fast and so hard I could hardly see. The intoxicated boaters at the ramp did not help matters any either, 3 could not start their boats, 1 tried to load with trolling motor down and one's truck would not pull his boat up the wet ramp. It looks like we are going to get more rain again this am. We had a trip today but passed on it. We did come in finally Saturday and no we did not go back out as 2 more storms came through in the next hour. From 17' to 27' was solid fish looking like spaghetti on the sonar and the side scan looked like white grains of rice from side to side when we left. It was a very memorable trip. It looks like Texoma tomorrow might be a rain out again too.

Hooking a fish is like playing string with a cat. The exact size, shape, color of string matters less than how you wiggle it- and little cats are easier to fool than big ones. John Gierach

The ramp at the St Park seemed like it might be a little but not much.
