Is there something I can put inside my boat to accelerate the drying process? It seems to retain residual water for some reason. Anything I can put inside to suck up the water?

Keep a fan blowing and open everything up. Nothing I have ever seen to keep one dry.

put a fan in the bilge area, make sure all front boxes are open and make sure air can be pulled from the front to the back.

Standing water in the bilge? Put a length of rope through the drain plug hole and lay one end of it in the bilge and hang the other end out the drain hole.

Fans and open lids is key. Seen it all. That works the best....bar none.
