I am meeting a guy this weekend that wants to buy my boat and my buddy that lives in Arlington wants to go fish this lake for fun. Any quick tips?

Brush Hogs. The finger by the west pier was good for me a couple days ago.

Haven't been since the grass was eliminated by the carp that were introduced... use to do good with paddle tail frogs (stanley).

C-rig the timber on the second point uplake from the ramp, east side. Boat shallow, throw to the trees. Hang on.

...there's a hump right there. Traditionally holds post-spawn girlies.

I also do real good on the 3rd cove, just a small creek inlet. on dropshot, using brushhogs or something smaller like Powerbait watermelon and baby bass 5 inch worms. Start at trees in either side of creek channel towards deeper water and work yourself towards bank. Alaways good for a few bass.
