All,
Looking for dinner suggestions for better than average food around Lake Fork? Doesn't need to be fancy or expensive - burgers, Mexican, chicken fried, etc.

I saw the link for Lake Fork Creek & Seafood, but I'm expecting the crowd next weekend to be out of control.

Give me your top 3 suggestions: Emory, Mineola, Quitman, Alba

Thanks,
JD

I like this hole-in-wall BBQ.
As always with BBQ..some like this place, some dont.
Peanuts on the floor.
Huge Onion Ring Tower is good.
About 8 miles out of Sulphur Springs on HWY 154 towards Lake Fork. (close to Yantis)

Lake Fork Resort has good food and very good prices. Not open in the evening, however. Lake Fork Marina is good. Both of these are on hwy 17 south of hwy 515. Veronas at 17 and 515 has good Italian food. The log cabin north of Alba has decent Mexican food. Connie's (Good Home Cooking) on 69 in Alba also is good.

AJ's packs them in. You may need a wheelchair or a girdle to get out the door if you eat all that stuff. Must admit, AJ's is the best place to go to get the authentic Lake Fork experience.
