I'll be fishing the Brazos behind Possum Kingdom Wednesday for the first time in a LONG time. I can't wait. Had a lot of fun last time. Hope we get in to a few Big girls.

I may be out there Tuesday. I went out there last Tuesday and the river was up and had a nice flow. I caught a ton of sunfish and a few very small bass. I have been out there a few times so far this year and I'm not catching or even seeing the fish that I was catching out there two years ago. Previously I would catch everything from sand bass, catfish, black bass, sunfish, drum, carp, etc. I have seen a lot of gar but much else out there. This is from Hwy 16 to the dam. I haven't gone south from Hwy 16 yet.

Fished south of the bridge a couple of times in the past month. I'll ech the previous comment in that the bite has seemed slower. Quality black bad can be found but You have to really put in the time. Been finding alot of juvenile bass and large sunfish as stated. Sight fishing the carp on the shallows can be amusing.
I have been turning back before getting to far around garland bend so I can only speak of that stretch. The flow is nice right now.

Anyone been since the rains came through? How was the water level and fishing? I am planning a trip to go soon
