I'll be w/ the fam for a long weekend and my wife and I were hoping to squeeze in a half day or less guided trip for trout/reds. We are staying on Mustang Island. Does anyone have a guide you would suggest?

Ill be in south padre all this week. Hows the fishing? Its been hit or miss for me. My big bay boat is out right now... lower unit went out and I ordered a new motor for it. I'll have my scooter to run this next weekend.

We are sitting on the beach right now. Where is a good place to wade fish with shrimp surf side for some specs or reds? Also, any snook?

I just got your pm. Your best bet right now is the jetties if you are surf side. I fished it today and saw some monster sheapshead. I was out looking at the blue water seems like 3 more days of this weather and we might get some kingfish off it.
