Wife and I were in Cimarron Bay at Lake Bridgeport earlier this afternoon. Here's a picture of that end of the lake at a bit over 17' low. I have caught a ton of fish off those docks way up on the shore. One usually has 5' of water and the other normally has 5-10' of water on it. In the 35 years I have either visited or lived out here I never recall it lower than this. It might have been but I don't recall.

Nahhh...I doubt after September 1st I will go out of my way to fish the lake anymore. We are moving and while I love it I would not drive the distance I plan on being to fish it.

It's too bad that lake fluctuates so much. It's always a good lake for a mixed bag.

I was looking at the states water data site after the rains to check some water levels and its pretty sad.

Dry-OC Fischer, EV Spence and a couple others.

Very close or on their way to dry-Meredith, twin buttes, medina, Corpus Christi.

It honestly doesn't seem like very long ago corpus, choke, medina were all full and amistad and falcon went over full pool.

WOW what a SAD site, 'The Port' was always a fun place.

Looks like some very poor management and greed for selling water.

Praying for SERIOUS rains out that way !!!!!!!!!!!

County ramp still open?

BTW, EV Spence is not dry. It was almost dry last fall and picked up 30' of water with last fall's West Texas rains.
