so i went fishing at the chicken crossing yesterday at sabine pass started off good first cast with a popcork on live shrimp i had a nice slot red but broke off att my feet the rocks shredded my 14# mono so i switched pole spinning real with 20# power pro caught 2 small reds and a a nice sheephead than the wind started to pick up and every cast i would get a hit but had to be a small croakers tearin up my live shrimp so i switched to artificial had one good hit nice trout the spit the hook rod was bent over. was kinda pissed because these 3 guys on a lil john boat which i could see was close but not casting distance caught 30 big specks on live shrimp on a popping cork..... BUMMER i tried smh i need to invest in a kayak

Ouch...never fun to watch someone else right next to you catching the fish... sux rocks!... i feel ya brotha... Those trout like the drop off... you'll get them!
