Can anyone give me some hints; like type of bait and best places, how deep ,etc. to fish this weekend 5/18 on Ray Roberts? I just moved here from California and have heard about how great this lake is. I'm fishing alone so any love is much appreciated...

Now, after the spawn and with warmer temps, you have to fish deeper. There is an early top water bite shallow (flukes, buzz baits). But then fish tree lines near road beds, humps, etc.in 5 to 12 or deeper.

We had 26.90 today sight fishing. A new wave has come up. Fish are in all stages.

We had a little under 26 lbs all post spawn and gorged with shad I had one fish must have lost a 1/2 pound in 5" shad.
