I know CHESTER MOORE,is very nice guy, know a lot of think about fishing, is good fisherman and you have a lot to learn from him.

I have learning nothing from him about flounder fishing, because i was knowing enough about flounder fishing and maybe CHESTER learn from me,about 6 years ago, when i meet him at BASS PRO SHOP'S in HOUSTON, how to catch flounder with 2" plastic, GULP MINNOW GRUB 2"and crappie jigs from the bank.

About 6 years ago i was sending some pictures to him about my flounder fishing and what rig i was using, maybe and today CHESTER have these pictures.
You can see 3 of the pictures(from 2006) sending by me to CHESTER :

Dude can play a mean Bass(Guitar) too. He came to the November Flounder Round Up On Chocolate Bayou (Or whatever it's called now.) one year. Very cool guy! The Tourney is for catching Breeders for Brood Stock for Sea Center Texas...

Jean , do you tip your jig with a piece of shrimp ?
Can you describe how you retrieve that rig ?
I would think how you fish the jig is more important than
how you rig the jig. ( A famous crappie catcher says
it's not the jig , it is the jigger)

the best day I had on Sabine , we were drifting the La shore
line , fishing the jig like I was fishing a plastic worm for
bass. Short hops and long pauses.

I understand you are " the MAN " fishing rollover.
Maybe I will get down and meet you there someday.

good luck

I've got a couple of Chester's books and I follow his Flounder Revolution blog. Never been to his seminar's yet, but his rep definitely precedes him. I'm no newb to inshore fishing, but I still learn quite a bit from his books and blog.

Hey Mo.......

Jean is an awesome man to meet in person.

He will sit there for HOURS and tell you how to fish and what to use.

I have taken some of his advice and used it at Sabine Pass.

I'll give you a call Redking.

God loves you just as much as anybody else!!

Jesus offered His life as a gift for you. Please accept it!

No,i don't tip the jig with a piece of shrimp ,but sometimes i tip the jig with flounder belly.
I cast my rig and keep the tip of my rod up (about 45 degree) ,wait until touch the bottom, twitch 1-2 times ,reel slow, twitch again and so until the rig is close to the bank or where i am fishing.

I don't know if is good or not ,but i am fishing my rig so and sometimes i catch fish too.....

Good luck,

Jean
