I am heading to fork in a Couple of weeks and I have a couple questions:
Is this something I can pick up in a weekend or does it take some practice?
Is it a deep bite or will it work somewhat shallow?
And lastly and ize and brand you recommend? Thanks guys

It's a deep to fairly deep bite and it's simple to pick up on. I throw a 6th Sense Custom flutter spoon but the Talon, Lake Fork Tackle, and the original Big Joe Spaits spoon are amazing also.

Talk to Cameron at Lake Fork Marina, he can set you up with what is working right now. Points are great deep with 1/2 to 1 oz, size may vary according to the forage?

Work it like a worm!

Don't limit yourself to ways to fish it, it's not only a bait fr suspended deep fish.
I've caught them well on it in less than 10 ft of water behind guys fishing traditional drop baits

A lot of times I throw out let it hit bottom..and bounce it back to the boat!
Of course, you need a semi sandy bottom.

The TFF never disappoints, always entertaining.

If going to Fork, do yourself (not your wallet) a favor and stop by and grab some; Big Joe Spaits spoons from Cameron. They are the sh*t!
