Voting is a HORRIBLE idea all you DFW guys are going to pick Eagle Mountain or Ray Roberts since 90% of the guys that fish this trail live in the DFW area and dont wanna drive 3 hrs to pre-fish, its only fair to keep it at Hubbard Creek My number is 817-896-2309. Call me

I think everyone easily forgets that this trail is 100percent payback. And that the fact is its a top notch run trail at that. Under the current lake conditions the fact that apt is giving us a chance to vote and not just moving it is big of them. And speaks volumes to the fact they care most about all there suporting anglers as a whole. Cudos APT I will fish it where ever. Thanks for a great 100 percent payback oppertunity.

Thanks Dave for the comments. It just gets old when people get on here and make stupid and negative comments like the dude did earlier. He hides behind a stupid screen name and will not call you when you ask him to. To me that is a coward

Thanks Dave for the comments. It just gets old when people get on here and make stupid and negative comments like the dude did earlier. He hides behind a stupid screen name and will not call you when you ask him to. To me that is a coward Mr. Dkmore, Mr. Daryl Roach, and the rest of the APT staff - You gentlemen, do not know me and I do not know you. I do not appreciate you calling me stupid, unreasonable, or a coward. I believe that your comments show your true character, and that to me is not impressive. I would not think that was a good representation of Anglers Pro Tackle. Those of you who have posted in support of APT and the decisions they have made, I would ask you to look at it from my perspective (being a non-local DFW, Eagle Mountain, Lake Worth participant) - when this trail was announced last year I was excited about the opportunity to fish a new trail, with great payouts, on some new and some old lakes, with a championship on a West Texas lake. You see, most of us West guys fish a trail all year long, only to have a championship on an East Texas lake or somewhere else thats 5+ hours away. My partner and I saw this as a cool opportunity. Now, I completely understand that lake conditions can and will force a change - heck I even agree that Hubbard Creek is probably not the best place to fish right now. What upsets me is that obviously the APT folks have known for some time that they had no intention of having the championship on HC. However, it wasn't until two days ago, when asked the question, that it was advertised that there would be a vote for the lake. So, I was supposed to show up at PK this weekend, fish, weigh in, and then be told "oh by the way, we are going to change the championship lake" - that, to me, is complete BS. Sorry for the rambling guys, I just don't think this has been handled professionally.

Sorry for the rambling guys, I just don't think this has been handled professionally. Donnie and Daryl are good guys. They are trying to do what they think is in the best interest of everyone. Nobody is picking on the west tx guys. I love Hubbard Creek just as much as anyone. Ray Roberts and Texoma are just as much of a drive from Fort Worth as HC. If you don't agree with them pick up the phone and talk to them. Coming on a stupid fishing forum to bash them and hiding behind a screen name is childish. It has been widely known for months that there was a good chance the championship would be moved if things didn't improve at Hubbard Creek.
