I threw one on it this afternoon paired with an old calcutta. It handled it pretty well but I was hoping it would do better. I definitely would wanna throw one all day on it.

I'd still like to find a deal on one of these to try out! I'm going to try the 806 Swimbait rod for the 10xd. It has good parabolic bend, but I've got to see if it's too limber. I hope not.. I don't want to buy TOO many more rods.

The 805 CBRM handles the 10 XD just great. I is a very good choice for the 10XD

I tried the Dobyns 795 and the 806 swim bait rod and like the 805 crank bait rod way better than these two.

The 795 handled the 10XD ok but it is heavier than the 805 and I thought the 805 just felt better throwing the 10XD

I think the 806 swim bait rod is just too much rod for it in my opinion.

Anyway, I tried all three and thought the 805 was the best choice and that is what I am using.

I threw one on it yesterday quite a bit, it is one of the best rods out there for the 10xd, IMO

The lure is heavy but not stupid heavy like a big swimbait. My 805 handles the 10xd just fine. Can't imagine using a bigger/heavier rod for this crank.

I too have thrown the 10XD on the 805 CBRM and think it does a great job. I also have an 806 swim bait rod and and while I haven't thrown the 10XD with it, I think its to much rod for this bait. The 805 CBRM is a beast in it own right!
