Almost straitened out the hook also caught a ton of sandies. So there are still a few in the creeks. I was using my little trout rod I use on small streams in colorado. That was all the fish it could handle lol. It was my biggest hybrid on the fly I have caught bigger stripers but also on a bigger rod. Fun day. we had multiple doubles

WOW! That's pretty good.

We got a 8' sturgeon last week on a 8'6" salmon rod rated for 12-25 lb line. Took my buddy and I about 30 minutes to bring that big girl in.

This was befor work stout fish and good way to start the day. the pic did that fishes gut no justice one of the fattest hybrids I've ever seen.
