Looks to have been a tough day for many, in terms of weight.

He's on a roll!

He's the guy who beat my hero, Rick Clunn, at Falcon.

Need to improve my LMB fishing, running out of time.

I'm an old timer but I love the way some of these younger guys are fishing like Combs, Christie, Palanuik etc.

There is an interview on FLW with Christie and he says he likes to fish everyday or he just feels out of touch. He takes a couple weeks for deer hunting then he's fishing day in day out tourney or not! Sounds like old school.

Congratulations to Keith. This could end up being a five or eight horse race. We'll see. Weights are pitiful, but consistent and as tightly bunched as ever. Can you imagine grinding all day for 5 that weigh 8? As for Palaniuk, helluva way to kick a slow start in the XXX's son! Christie is probably so exhausted a 91st isn't surprising. He only weighed 2 for 4 which means he was swinging for the fence

Can't remember which one but one had 5 for less than 5 lbs.

p.s. -How about Greg Vinson? Dude's getting more consistent with higher finishes. Vinson also seems to be around a big fish or two in most events.

todays live blog shows fishing to be a bit more active it would seem. A few more "5 pounders" are being caught as well. Quotations added, as most have not been officially weighed, yet.
