Had a few hours to kill this afternoon and decided to try my luck at DD Ranch in Mesquite. $10 to fish a 6 acre pond all to myself. It's the first time I've been there and will definitely be back. Ted was a super nice guy and let me drive my truck right down to the pond so I wouldn't have to carry my gear and poles.
Caught a few all on shaky head with 3 different colors (chartreuse pepper, green pumpkin/chartreuse, and junebug). The largest went just shy of 3 lbs and the others were around 2 lbs.

This one looks spawned out...

Yeah, Double D ranch used to be a little kept secret of mine. I guess not anymore. LOL

A great place for sure and great for taking kids to catch some gills. I always get a bite at DD Ranch.
