Anybody have any neat ones? Anytime we go out Carp fishing (or fishing for anything, really) I make a point to bring Yoo-Hoo's and peanut butter sandwiches. All my best catches and experiences were when I remembered to bring those....the days I blanked we had no Yoo-Hoo's or peanut butter sandwiches. I'm teased for it but those who don't share my Yoo Hoo's and sandwiches usually come up empty handed while I'm skipping around to the sound of my bite alarms going off. I know its in my head...haha...but I imagine its like a blindly loyal football fan wearing his lucky jersey every game to lift his spirits.

A couple of my other friends sing Journey on the way to every fishing spot (they sound AWFUL, by the way) but it pumps them up. Can't say it's always a success but it's entertaining.

Surely I'm not alone in this smile

no, there are a few places that if me and friends flash our car headlights on the water, we get runs, or we will go throw the net down beside our pods and get runs, lol

At Grapevine, during the summer, if a boat is on top of your rigs you are absolutely going to get a run. I think it's something with the current making the fish go crazy, but it's extremely predictable.

I am paranoid about setting the net up last, and I don't get runs unless the net is set up after my rods are out and the weigh sling is on top of the mat and wetted with a bucket of water next to it.

I'm sure others will come to mind with some thought

I have lucky hats, I try to eat a Whataburger Bacon Double Cheeseburger before a session if available, and if I was wearing a particular shirt on a good session, I'll try to keep it in rotation.

I'm like Chad. If starting a morning session, I swing by Jack in the Box for a couple of Breakfast Jacks...

I have heard that bananas in the boat were bad. Not for me it seems.

These are great. I can relate to a lot of these...even subliminal ones I do in passing, such as grabbing a specific shirt or stopping at my favorite gas station for drinks every time without fail.

That's interesting with the boat & rigs bit...hadn't heard of or really thought about that before. I'm usually shore fishing....I have a little flat bottom boat I take out from time to time....but I will and have flipped it trying to bring stuff in lol
