Ray Hubbard has been treating my boat very well We are so blessed! Friday, I took my Pastor and three very dedicated and very deserving church members. We fished from 8am-2pm and boated well over 100+ sandies, at three different spots. The sandie quality got bigger as the day goes by. The birds were working from 12 to 2 and the sandies were still feeding deep. No surface feedings.

Saturday I had a fishing date with my wife and we fished from 11 to 4pm with a Campisi's lunch break in between. We found fish and caught most of our fish at the first spot by ourselves, then SilverSide Mark and CC joined in later. Then we went over to the levees and saw Luv and Kenny already catching as we eased in. We caught some good magnums there too with one measured at 16".

Both days, we fished fished along with twin brother and Bombay at a few spots and ran into other TFFers as well. Twin brother and Bombay got some great reports to post I am sure. Great fishing weather and pleasant air temp for both days. Water temp was around 65 degrees. Depth caught were from 21-26 ft. No hybrids for my boat. Twin brother caught some huge hibbies cuz he was targeting them very early and shallow.

Here's a photo collage from the two days. My wife kicked my butt in catching Saturday . I spot locked on farmiliar flat bottom areas and one group of fish were pretening to be in a brush pile formation but the fish did not fool us cuz we still caught them like crazy. Nice try fish!!!


Oh, ran into an old buddy at the ramp and he said the fish were boiling at BPS in the morning with sandies and hybrids, in the AM. They were the only boat there.

About 10-20% of the fish caught still has eggs.

Good report Todd, and great seeing ya. We also did surprisingly well yesterday. I have not been out there in about a month so to just go out there kinda blind I was pleasantly surprised. Kenny got 2 over hybrid and we ended with about 50 sandies. Probably take the wify at some point today.

Wow, I'm so jealous. We went to Joe Pool yesterday. We didn't catch any sandies over 12". Most were 10 1/2". I thought about doing a photo collage but figured everyone would just laugh at it.

Since my boat is down, we didn't have spot lock...talk about challenging! I'm so spoiled now!

Way to go Todd! I saw Todd as he was pulling his boat out yesterday. I was having a neighborhood fish fry. I asked him if he wanted some fish to eat and I think he was fished out! Gonna try to get out today with Kathy.....
