Decided to fish the windward shore today. Got to Pecan at 11;30am and caught 3 good channel cats in thirty minutes with several solid hits and one freight train that came unbuttoned. After that nothing for forty five minutes. Moved to Welch and hit the bank far west of the ramp. Caught 6 more keeper cats and one throw back. Moved down to the reeds just west of the ramp and picked up a 12 inch white, a 20 inch hybrid and 4 more cats. Left for home at 4;30. I didn't deplete the resource but boxed a few. All caught on dead shad wormed on 3/0 circles...Lawton

Did I see you? Did you hammer rod holders and Wade in to throw the cast net a little before 3pm? White truck? I was in grey Dodge with white V bottom. Too Dang windy for me to launch.I banked it,couldn't catch shad and punch bait didn't do it for me.Ended up going and buy catfish for a fry at work that night.Now that's funny.Went to Rocky Thursday but just a boat ride.Single 2 lber on cut shad. Found a good spot to bank fish though with depthfinder. Gonna bank fish if it keeps on being windy. May go bank fish tomarrow.
