 lost my pontoon @ Lake Waco 4-21

Sunday after Church my daughter says...dad lets go fishing, I want to get on your pontoon boat and see if i can work it! ...mistake #1  so after taking a joy ride around the cove we were in she asks for her fishing pole with a char/pink/char jig (thanks Lane!) and a jar of crappie nibbles...mistake #2 on her first cast BAM! small catfish!, cast #2 BAM! another dang catfish!, cast #3 BAM! small black bass! holy smokes I am thinking what in the world is going on...this whole time i have managed to catch TWO crappie and with in five minutes she has landed 3 fish and two different types! so.....i ask her why dont you throw closer to the trees, that where the crappies should be...the pics can tell the rest of the story...  well she went on to catch 10 crappie all on the same jig!   we ended the day with 12 fish! 10 were hers and 2 were mine! WHAT AN AWESOME DAY ON THE WATER! I wouldnt have cared if i didnt catch any just to see her with that big smile!  now she is wacthing the weekend weather to see if I can take her back out on "her" pontoon boat.

That is what fishing is all about. Memory there for a lifetime.  Side Note: Nice Fish.
