 First time at Navarro Mills...WOW!!!!

Hooked my boat up to Jigmasters truck and headed to NM this afternoon and in just a little over 2 hours we had a two man limit. The last time I had hand to hand combat with fish like that was a few years ago on Aquilla. Them fish would hit the jig and take off like bullets. Them are some spunky devils for sure. Thanks Craig for a GREAT day of fishing.  Jigmaster with what I am sure are two of my slabs.

Very nice! It has been many years since I fished that lake but it is a great lake for Crappie

DANG!!!!!! thats a nice haul!
I'm headed out with jiggin el tomorrow to NM. My first time. We'll be in tubes. Could you tell me what type of structure you were fishing? Don't need exact locations or anything. Just a general starting area.

One thing I forgot to mention, be sure to take jigs. talked to many using minnows and they weren't doing very good. we were using homemade featherd jigs and just wore them out.

Nice catch.. What depth were they at? Right on the bank and on any structure you could find. caught just as many near an open bank with nothing around as we di jigging around stumps and laydowns. and anything sticking out of the water held fish.
