But had to work my butt off to do it Don't expect more than about 7-9 bites all day. But they can pay off. I had one over eight this weekend with several in the 5-6 lb range Stay shallow and avoid the crowds. wt luke Angler Joined: Jun 2012 Posts: 372 odessa	Spinnerbaits in 2-6ft. of water has worked for me so far. Lots of little ones on the banks with a big one now and then. Haven't had much luck on soft plastics yet. Good Luck

tbates Angler T Joined: Mar 2012 Posts: 319 Boerne	Fish are real shallow during day break then pulling back when the sun gets high. I pitched chigger craws with excellent success. I'm not real big on spinner baits but I heard they were killing them on them. Work the coves on the East side of the Colorado just north of concho ramp.
