I hope not! I left San angelo almost a year ago. When I left it was very low but still fishing pretty well. Anybody still go out there?

Not pretty but is still there as of last weekend. I caught so many fish on that lake in late eighties and early nineties. Makes me sad to see it now.

Me too. I went there 2-3 times a week during the spring every year when I was in college. This time last year it was actually producing some nice fish.

Those fish are still in that lake. . .

My buddy goes once or twice a week still in TB. There was a day last week he caught over 30, the biggest goin over 8 lbs.

There may not be much water, but there still are fish.

Never give up on Buttes. Fished in 70's when water into the equalization channel and people skiing through there. Fished it again 2004-2006. Great lake when it has water, and it will again. Hope you guys see water there again before long, Spring Creek & Middle are due a good flushing.

There will likely be more water this summer than there was last summer, thanks to that monsoon at the end of September. Not a lot more, but maybe a few feet.

Spent a lot of time there also in late 80's early 90's. I used to camp and fish there with the wife and kids about twice a month. Lots of great memories there. Hope it fills back up, would consider going there again.

Buttes was my dad and grandpa's favorite lake late 80's early 90's. They fished it all the time. Grandad has an 11.5 on his wall from buttes. Lots of memories for us out there. Hope it fills up one day.
