I have found what i think is a good deal on an Ocean Kayak Frenzy. The manufacturers specs say it is rated between 275 and 325 lbs. I am 6' and weigh about 240 lbs. Do you think this would work for me?
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks,

I would consider the Scrambler as well. What are you planning on using the kayak for?

By "work for you" if you mean float you...yes. Nothing against Ocean Kayak, they make some great kayaks but for your size you should try a few others out first and you'll be able to decide for yourself.
Now if it gets you on the water sooner and you can resell for near what you pay, go for it.

Well I live very close to Lake Lewisville. That is where i am planning on using most of the time. But I live in an apartment. So storage space is limited.

Ruffhouse,
I hope that you are planning to come to the Spring G2G this coming Saturday. If not, it would be advantageous for you to plan to attend. Our store and several others will be there with a big variety of demo kayaks. This is a "not so often occasion" where you will have the immediate option try out a good variety of kayaks of interest all at the same venue.
Among other good selections that you will see, I want to recommend that you try out the Wilderness Systems Ride 115. Although the Ride 115 is only 11'6" long, it has a 500# payload rating, great performance as well as superior stability. With your limited storage space, the compact size, payload capacity, comfort, and stability, the Ride 115 would be a great fit for you.
I hope to have the pleasure of meeting you on Saturday!

The frenzy is a great kayak for certain applications. Fishing isn't one of them and you're a big boy so I would look else where.
You could buy it, but you will end up upgrading soon.

If you are over six feet and over 200 pounds go with a bigger yak 12' or over. I've owned 10' and 11' kayaks and bigger is so much better!
Just one more cast!

I am 6'2 and 240 on a day when I havnt eaten much I have an older scrambler and it suits me quite well, it is a pretty good platform for fishing I carry quite a bit of stuff only downsides I have found is one it won't fit a standard milk crate, and two it is a bit to narrow to stand in. Other than that I have no complaints. I rigged a crate with PVC to make it fit though. I will have it at the gtg if you want to paddle it, but like mike said there will a ton of kayaks that you will be able to paddle

The frenzy I paddled was a friends that lived on second floor of apartment complex and under the circumstances a good choice. Had to load and unload through balcony sliding glass door and they wouldn't let him store outside on balcony. Rules are rules.

RuffHouse - feel free to look me up if you come to the G2G this saturday. I own/use an Ocean Kayak Frenzy that i won in a competition and have it rigged.
I'm 210-215 and have loaded a good bit of gear on there to push the weight up to 260+.
It works well even loaded - but don't expect to stay dry or paddle any really long distances. I've paddled 6+ miles in it in a day but you get a really good workout.
I've rigged it with some 4" trac for ram mounts/holders and have a custom insert to help hold my crate.
It is best described as a "fun" kayak - as long as you pay attention to your prep work (weather/wind), know your limitations around paddling, and make sure and take a PFD you can have a lot of fun with the frenzy.
It is really easy to store and handle for one person.
If you fish light - it can be a GREAT fishing platform. Just know that it isn't ideal for all situations.

Ruffhouse, I have both the OK Frenzy and Scrambler XT. At 6'/240lbs, you would definitely benefit from the extra 2.5 foot in length and additional hatch space and room in the rear on the Scrambler. (My $.02) Both are great yaks for getting out on the water around the DFW area.
