What is a rule of thumb for location of centerline prop shaft to the bottom of boat? Running 10" jackplate with 200hp Mariner.in addition have HP low water intake.

What boat and prop are you running? Most start at 3 and1/2 below but some boats are designed to run the motor higher. Need some more info to get you fixed up steves custom props would probably know right where you need to be though.

if your running TRUE low water pickups.. like a nose coned case. the prop shaft height will be determined by what boat,etc you have. we can get ya close if you tell us exactly what ya got. and what prop are you running now?
