Went out last night in 20 mph winds and stuck one that would have been 8 and another over 10 and had both come off.... im seriously starting to get depressed. Anyone else having bad luck out there?

If your using cranks, start putting KVD triple grips on. I rarely lose a big fish any more when I have swapped out the hooks to these.

Don't blame hooks. U will lose them no matter what u use f they dont get hooked right the first time.

Did I read this right? You were fishing at night but you know how big they are?

Anyway, I hate to lose fish. Makes me feel like I lost the battle.

A fish is never bigger than when you lose or break him off.

Oh yes he is! He's bigger by the time you get back to the ramp and even bigger that night. By the time your telling about him at work Monday he may even be twice as big.

I had terrible luck with big fish and the KVD trebles. This was with large bodied cranks.

It's better than to have hooked and lost than to have never hooked at all..
