I caight 2 today on Ray Bob. Searched in my tube and then jumped back in the boat to work from shallow to deep. Never found anything. I must be losing it. Worst day this season for me.

I didn't get to go. I worked all day. Looks like I will be on the bank Saturday too. I hate this no boat deal.

It's one thing if the boat breaks down, and you got to get a ride till its fixed...but to "sell" your "only" boat right before spawn, and before you had another in the garage or boathouse....Bobcat you were asking for trouble man...

FYI., there is a process known as "pre-approval letter for X dollar amount"...basically a letter from the bank that you are pre-approved up to a certain dollar amount (you tell them how much you want to spend, then the CU completes the approval process and commit to the loan via the letter.) that you can provide to a boat dealer so they know you are getting that new boat without their in-house financing...Here's the deal, you don't have to sell your boat to get one...Next time you are thinking about making a little $$ on a boat sale...tell the CU loan officer you want a pre-approval for another boat...that way you will know if they are going to balk, change terms on you, etc...BEFORE you sell your current boat...man, I would have already changed CU's if they had pulled that BS on me. Hope this info helps and keep the chin up and your bait in the water.

Yep lessons learned alright. I did have a pre-approval word of mouth but when my loan officer got a new boss, he changed the rules. Just bad timing. No problem. I'm a big boy and I will get another boat when it is perfect timing.
