Is there a way to add descriptions to waypoints? I'd like to type in what I was fishing with, how many I caught, weather conditions and anything else to remind me what was at a particular waypoint.

What I do is rename the waypoints. I use winter/evening or spring/afternoon on a very few spots that I need to be more descriptive on.
Other than that, I suggest getting a little notebook and keep you notes. A notebook allows you to ready and review in the comfort of your house and not on the boat scrolling through the list.

You can change the name and many change to what they are fishing. Use the Unit with Waypoint Management or Humminbird PC.
