found these two fish lying on the bottom. big one had gills eaten out but small one was still alive

Cool Picture.  Been seeing a lot of this lately.  There was a video posted on this same forum the other day. The title of the post was "This is just crazy to beleave" the angler was "Bassnet56". Shows two bass stuck together from the mouth.

That is crazy to think they would try to eat somthing that large. Or do you think it is because they are fighting over a woman.

Second one of those posted. Wow! I have seen it happen actually during the spawn on Fork. When a 2# tried to eat a 1# after it crossed his bed.

Happens a lot this time of the year with the spawn and protective nature going on. That is when I saw it actually happen.

Or do you think it is because they are fighting over a woman. Most likely LoL this is third time i have seen bass eating big ones like that .

See it happen a lot when schooling activity heats up, not always aggression or hunger motivated more like a head on collision right as one fish opens wide in pursuit of baitfish, I've seen fish practically the same size in this situation more than once
