had this idea to store my flies; easy to open, find flies I need for my fishing boxes. Notebook zips up to keep flies from falling out. I can store flies in this notebook that came from 8 8x10 plastic boxes-p-

I like! Hard to find something to carry the big boys that isn't like carrying a suitcase. Excellent idea.

seems like its a better fit for the big streamers, deceivers, seaducers, clousers, buggers, etc; not a good fit for big hard poppers or big deerhair poppers/divers because these flies take up too much space "between" the pages. I will need a bigger ring mechanism for the big topwater stuff; the little 6 and smaller gurglers, spiders, deerhair bubblers, poppers, etc. are fine but its the big headed stuff(4,2,1,2/0,3/0 etc) that just won't fit without special modification-p-

...let us turn now in our hymnals to Shall We Gather at the River. Find the rhythm, select an appropriate streamer, and we'll begin.

I don't know that I was specifically going for funny in that circumstance, but I'll take it. "It's hard to have fun in a place like this, but I do my best." Augustus McCrea (before that sadistic writer went and kilt him)

Ohhh, now I get to post my favorite Deadwood quote! "@#$! #%*@#% %#@%*# #%@ %$#%#%$%$*%#%*$#" Al Swearengen I'll bet Robin got a little nervous when he read the first line.
