Mainly from the area around Red Hot and Blue and down at Jefferson Park area are fishable. Others may know some other areas. Lots of water holding lots of quality fish.

Hit the Canals tonight. I usually take a jig and walk along the bank and usually catch 7-8 bass in an hour or so. The biggest being 4-5 lbs. Well tonight I decided to do something different. I went with 2 dozen minnows and all I can say is I wish I had bought more!!! No bass this time but the Crappie were on fire!!!!!! I was so fun watching the lighted bobber B-Line under water!!! The biggest Crappie was about 2lbs and 15 inches.. All others were 11-12 inches. There were a few I couldn't keep because of the size limitation. The smallest was 9 inches!!!!! I live in Duncanville and had to get minnows at the Bass Pro Shop. Well I was already on that side of town so I just stop there. need to find a bait house closer. But what a night!!! I'll be bringing minnows from now on!!!!
