I bought one when they first came out and I beat the [censored] out of it, It's one of my most used rods. Never had an issue

for the price i think they are very good. Maybe the shipping quailty controls have gone down and they are getting beat up before they hit the stores now???

Had a customer last week break one casting. Skinney Dipper 1/8th oz Owner Beast hook. Broke off just below the second guide.About 30 minutes into the morning.

I asked him if he had maybe dinged it in truck door or rod box. He said he just put a reel on it the night before, brand new rod.

Seems like a common problem.

i have used 3 of them, in rotation with my other rods, with no problems- for 2 years now.

they are just heavier (wieght-wise) than I like.

I will never own another abu Garcia product. Abu Garcia is pure trash after breaking 3 rods and stripping gears in 2 reels very light use and not even 2 months old. I'm done with them.

Been catching hogs at Falcon for three two years with a veritas crank and flippin stick no problems.

I have two Veritas and two Vendettas as my primary rods, always on deck, no problems yet. Have had them now for about a year and one for over two years. They all have Revos. I have made the switch from Falcon and Shimano and I'm not looking back. My buddy just snapped his brand new Cara last week. I snapped one of my Falcons last year. It happens with any rod I'm sure. The question to me is how does the rod/reel feel in your hand? Love my ABUs!

I broke one a couple months ago. Took it into Southwestern Parts and they swapped it out. No problem. They are the warranty center in the area, I believe.

I've got a 7'11" xh, and although I don't fish near as frequent as I'd like, it has landed some mules, dragging footballs, or flippin HEAVY cover. No issues with it, or my 7' mh, so far. Going on two years of owning/fishing them. Pleased so far.

I broke everyone I ever owned. My only trip to the wall of shame was because I wanted everyone to know how bad they were. Not sure if they sponsor the Tff or not but they did a few years back.

I had 6 of them. I broke 4 of them with in the first 3 months of use. Two of them broke while casting. I'm not very hard on my equipment either... I use rod socks and keep them in the rod locker or in the wall mounted rod rack. Possible a bad batch of rods????? I dont know. I sold them and bought Cara T7's. Couldnt be happier

Bought a vendetta 2 years ago. It was a really great rod, especially for the price. Very sensitive and lightweight. My first day out with it was great. Second day I took it out on the water, it snapped in half when I was trying to shake a lure off a tree. Wasn't any harder on it than I've been on any other rods. Been buying Dobyns ever since.

did you exceed the max weight for a lure? sometimes rods do have a max weight per lure? Or do they not do that anymore?
