With my busy schedule this year, I haven't had much time to get on the water.

The first trip on the water was around the 1st of March. I got on a good pattern that day and put together a good bag of fish, including this big girl

The second trip on Texoma this year was last Saturday(3/16). The girlfriend wanted to go, so we didn't get on the water until 8:30 and fished until about 2:30. The weather was a bit chilly that morning, but I was in a T-shirt and shorts by noon. The bite started of slow, but quickly heated up just as the weather did. Caught a lot of good fish and put together another good pattern. Here are a couple of the ones I had caught that day

Yesterday morning my cousin and I were planning on fishing a tournament on Texoma. We showed up to the ramp to sign up at 5:45 and no one was there. We waited until 6:30 and still didn't have anyone show up to pay for the event. So we launched the boat and headed out to fish.

The weather was nicefor the first hour, then turned nasty until 2:30. There wasn't much of a patteren for today. A couple on one bait, then a couple on another bait. Some on rock then some on docks. We did a lot of junk fishing, as the weather kept changes. It went from windy, to calm, to a North wind, then an East wind. The thunder and lightning started and the rain clouds opened up. It was a cold, wet day, but the fishing was really good.
Here are 2 of the better fish we caught. The smallie was over 5

Nice fish! I'm fishing Texoma for the first time in a couple weeks. That's a great smallie you caught.
