I had a good buddy drive down from Tulsa that fished with me Wed-Fri. Below are our results....

On Wednesday, we were able to get on the water for about 3 hrs before dark. We ended up catching 7 total, sightfishing in Penson. Biggest was just under 4 lbs. All males. Conditions were perfect for bed fishing but could not get the biggens to stay locked on. We seen a few big females but they were not close to being ready yet. Thursday was a totally different day, windy and cloudy. No sightfishing. We actually stayed in Big Mustang all day, both sides of the creek and under the bridge. Our totals were 8 fish, biggest was 4 lbs. We caught our fish on points, fishing very slow. We took a 4 hour break and got off the water, had to eat lunch and catch up on our beer talk. We went back out for evening fishing but it wasn't any better. On Friday, we woke up late because of unforeseen reasons, wasn't expecting head to hurt that bad. Anyways, we fished in Little Mustang for 3 1/2 hrs in the morning without a bite and called it quits about 1pm Fri afternoon.

All in all, we had a wonderful time, catching up with old friends is priceless! To sum up the fishing in a nutshell......"LAKE FORK SUX" J/K! I love Fork, but I hate it most of the time!

LOL - those headaches, sometimes u have them, sometimes not. Seem to happen more often fishing or hunting with buddies.

With this cold front and high winds if you can get out, the fish --- for the most part pulled out to the first break, RMAX caught some big slots today up shallow in the Eugene Ditch area.. They're gone from around my dock opposed to last weekend it was covered up..

Hey Billy......I had planned on coming up for a glass of tea but it looked like your place was closed down. Is your dock the one with the pontoon in it? Very nice place you have, sir.....

Fork is the bomb - Rayburn is the lake that sux!

I'm going to Fork next tuesday thru Thursday and I'm hoping that my head hurts some lol... I'm hoping that I can catch at least what you guys did Okie Poke

Sounds like a great time!! That headache gets me every time I don't take the time to drink water between every few beers while being in the sun.

Okie is about to give Fork another try on Monday & Tuesday. Hoepfully we sack up the big girls.

I go camping and fishing twice a year with two lifelong friends. One is like he's Amish...he's ready to go to bed when the sun goes down. The other likes to sit around the campfire, tell stories, and drink beer.

The last two times we've gone my beer drinking buddy and I have been up until 3:45 a.m. About three hours after I get to bed Mr. Early to Bed, Early to Rise is ready to head out on the lake.

I told them I'm coming to the realization that I can't do both.
