I was out on my friends boat fishing for Bass and we were catching Sunnies and Blue Gills off of Bass Hooks and brushhogs! We thought we were getting hits from bass but it was the panfish bite the entire time come to find out. It was my first time on Dunlap and eventhough it was slow it was a great little spot to catch a varity.

Thanks "JWK" for the reply. Dunlap is one heck of a lake. Hopefully you will get a chance to fish it several more times before you move.

Banker way to go those are some cool fish for sure. Thanks for sharing your report. Thanks "CK" for the reply! You guys don't have any Rios up there.  We are lucky to have a nice population of em down here. They are one fighting fish.  Also very good eating to.

Pound for pound which would be the better fighter Blue Gill or Rio? Thanks "Linecaster" for the reply. Good question! Pound for pound I would easily say the Rio.  Big Bluegill also put up a super fight but it seems a Rio just never stops fighting even when you are taking out the hook!

Big Bluegill also put up a super fight but it seems a Rio just never stops fighting even when you are taking out the hook! Bummer, I thought the Blue Gill was tops!! Oh well I guess I will have to find out for myself some day
