I was looking on the ol map and found a small little lake in Dallas named Parkdale Lake, White Rock Creek runs down by it so I was thinking maybe there's some crappie in there due to the "run"
I went there yesterday to do some prospecting, there is no way to access the lake. Parked in Lawnview park and there was cr@@p everywhere! Not to mention a dead pitbull wrapped in a tarp. You can fish the creek but there was quite a bit of trash as well in the water. Then we went to park at Wahoo Park and all we found were railroad tracks and a fence running around the entire lake.
Unfortunate because if there are fish in there, there is literally no pressure on them and there's a power plant. May be some absolute beasts but it looks like no one will be able to find out if there is or not.
You don't always need a boat.. But gosh darn it, sure helps!

I think [???] Parkdale is a cooling pond for an electric generating plant. It's been there for a very long time and may not have public access.

Live a few blocks from there the generating plant has been gone for about a year , wish someone would give the city the word to drop the fence but considering the area it would just turn into a body dump .
