It looks like all of the timber was left in the Naconiche creek and Branch creek arms of this lake. The timber looks pretty thick. Are they even fishable?

Is there rock, concrete or compacted earth at the dam?

I am not a big fan of the lake yet. The timber is thick but you can fish it. When it first opened it was all the rage, now it is just another lake. I think lake Nacogdoches fishes a lot better. JMO.

There actually appears to be somewhat of an open path through the timber on the Branch Creek arm.

Any info on the dam construction?

yep, its fishable.....went tues for about 4 hr. 1-20", 1-22"







great little lake...

love that "nanofil" 17#, love me some "tubes"....
