BTW, just got a pm from a TFF'er that went from the creek at Bachman a couple days ago and was blown away by the sheer numbers of lunkers on the nests, who tried the lower end of the lake and made quick work of 6 outstanding bass! So, Like I said the fish are everywhere at bachman but if YOU DON'T GET OFF YOUR DUFF AND GO LOOKING, YA AIN'T GONNA GET EM!!!

One week's worth of late night fishing, instead of lurking and posting: And the night i caught the 8 lb'er and the 6 lb'er back to back, naturally i didn't have the camera with me, only a witness/co-worker. All fish caught on 1/32 oz crappie jigs with plastic crappie tubes, UNPAINTED jig heads, 6 lb test, UL gear. All caught between 10 PM and 11:30 PM, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday of wk of 3/25-3/29/'12. After i got out of my p/t evening job. GET OFF YOUR DUFF AND FISH! Rudy

Caught close to 50 in 4 nights, but these are just representative samples of fish caught. Those green things on several fish is actually some grass tips that were on the lens! Makes it look like the same fish, but trust me, they are different fish! This week has been dynamite too, with the coming of the full moon. The storms did litte to slow it down

I been telling these guys that for years, but who listens to an old fart that only thinks he knows a thing or two about fishing and fishing spots. Bachman Creek is literally choked with bass this time of yr! Some 10-12 lb mama toads are not at all uncommon, but no one seems to want to go after them either! Fine with me.
BTW, in the last 4 Days I have been catching literally truckloads of LMB's between 3 and 8 lbs each! One night this week i caught 2 6 lb'ers, 3 4 lb'ers, 1 5 lb, 1 6 lb, and tons of 1-3 lb'ers. All at night, deep night, 10-11 PM and all on 1/32nd oz tube jigs, on 6 lb Trilene XL, on UL Bill Dance Quantum gear! One night i caught a 6 and a 8 Lb'er back to back! Funny thing is no one seems to want to go with me. One of my co-workers from Home Depot , who is now a true believer, had to put his eyeballs back in his sockets when he saw what i landed that night. he was there, and hooked one easily 7-8 lbs, that jumped up and spit out his lizard. They DO NOT SPIT OUT THE TUBE JIG, TAKE IT DEEP IN THE JAW!
PM'ed and Texted, and VM'ed several, still waiting for the first call back! Oh Well!! Your loss! One night i caught 12 in about 20 minutes between 3 and 7 lbs each! All are still there and making babies.
For the rest of you, i could tell you where but then i'd have to kill you!!
Happy fishing instead of catching!
Rudy
I can testify to that sir, I went to Sudie Williams elementary not far from there, and that creek was what manifested my love for fishing as a kid. Monster bluegill, warmouth, LMB, crappie... I have so many memories of that creek. I ended up taking my boys there years later and watched them catch the fire out of some fish. Great place for all ages!
Work. Fish. Eat. Sleep.

I have a couple ponds that I go to in Coppell. One of them is Andrew Brown Park. Where I park is off of N Moore Rd. There are four ponds on that side of Denton Tap road. The one I have had the most luck on is the second one if you look at the map from west to east. I have had most of my catches on the south end out there. The other spot that I go to is McInnish Park. Its not Coppell but its right on the line of Coppell and Carrollton off of Sandy lake Dr. I fish the big pond off of ball park way. The south end of the pond is really the only part you can fish. All the bass I have pulled out of there this year have been off the south west corner. The pond is divided when you look on google maps satellite view. The bigger ones are just east of the divide. Biggest one I pulled out this year was 6 1/2 pounds. Both of these ponds I have caught 90% of them on soft plastics. Hope this helps

I fished the biggest pond off of Moore, which is the furthest east. Caught a 1.5 lb bass about 16". Third cast in the northwest corner off the point on a white strike king spinner with trailer hook. Trailer hook is what got him so it defeated my don't use a trailer hook in an urban pond theory. It was about 75* at 2 pm. Didn't catch anything else for the next 2 hrs. Used senko, trick worm, swim jigs, spinners, rattletrap and a lizard.... Nothing else.
