I catch perch in there all the time.. there are hundreds of them.. i also know there are some catfish in there just don't know what sizes because i have never caught one.. I've seen hundreds of baby cats in a ball this pass month so they are in there..

Town lake Mckinney is stock every year with Trout. For a kids trout derby.

I've lived 4 houses from Town Lake in Irving for over 20 years, and have seen a few catfish, lots of perch, and a giant goldfish caught. No bass, tho. It doesn't mean they aren't there.

I've caught crappie out of there before. Seen several bass fishernmen they always say its ok fishing

There's some nice bass in this pond. I've caught a couple over 6 lbs myself and plenty right around 3 lbs. They're just very picky at times

Drove by today and small pond was drained. Fence up and construction going on. Anybody know what's up??

I was there about 2 weeks ago when they started doing that. I found something online saying there's a spillway restoration going on. they stopped draining it about 6 ft down when i was there so hopefully some of the fish survive. i know for sure there's a few 5 lb fish in the small pond
